Our Story
Kaza Realty was born from a belief that real estate should feel personal, not transactional.
After years of guiding families, first-time buyers, and sellers through major life decisions, our founder saw the need for something different: genuine connection and true advocacy.
That’s why Kaza was created. Not just to help people buy and sell property, but to create safe spaces, new beginnings, and lifelong memories.

Hi, I’m Sandra Velazquez, a REALTOR® with Kaza Realty, proudly serving Elko and the surrounding communities. For the past six years, I’ve had the privilege of helping buyers, sellers, and investors navigate one of the most important decisions of their lives. As a bilingual REALTOR® fluent in English and Spanish, I am committed to making the buying and selling process clear, comfortable, and rewarding for every client I serve.
To me, real estate is about so much more than contracts, negotiations, and closing dates. It’s about helping people achieve their goals while building relationships that last long after the keys are handed over. Guiding my clients through every step of the process is my passion. I lead with honesty, integrity, open communication, and genuine care so every client feels informed, confident, and supported from start to finish.
I don’t want to be remembered as the REALTOR® who simply opened the door to a house. I want to be the person you think of whenever you, your family, or your friends need a trusted real estate professional. My greatest accomplishment isn’t the number of homes I’ve sold. It’s the lasting relationships I’ve built with the people and families I’ve had the honor of serving. Many of my clients become lifelong friends, and that’s what makes this career so meaningful to me.
Giving back to the community that has given so much to me is just as important. I proudly serve as a Catechist at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and am an active member of the Elko Kiwanis Club, where I enjoy supporting local programs and helping strengthen our community. These experiences reflect the same values I bring to my business every day: service, compassion, integrity, and a genuine commitment to making a positive difference.
Outside of real estate, you’ll usually find me enjoying a good book, traveling, or spending quality time with my family. I believe life’s greatest moments are built through meaningful experiences and strong relationships, and I bring that same perspective to every client I have the opportunity to serve.

Jessica Shirey brings almost ten years of real estate experience to our team. She began her career in Northern Nevada in 2016, spent time working in Texas, and has now returned home with her Nevada license and a renewed commitment to the community she knows so well.
Jessica is a proud fifth generation Northern Nevadan with deep local insight and a genuine passion for helping people find the place that feels right for them. As a mother and grandmother, she understands how important it is to choose a home that supports every season of life.
